The pattern
Brilliant at the work. Buried by it.
Before Markster, we ran growth for service firms one at a time. The same story kept repeating: a great accountant, agency owner, or broker who was also the only person doing outreach, writing the content, and chasing the follow-ups. Growth had quietly become a second job they resented.
The dead end
You can’t hire your way out anymore.
The usual fixes had stopped working. The salesperson costs more than they bring in for the first year. The freelancer covers one channel, then leaves with everything in their head. The next tool is just another login that hands the owner more work, not less.
What we built instead
One operated system, not another vendor.
So we stopped selling hours and started running the whole loop ourselves. Outbound, content, CRM, and follow-up, operated as one system on the firm’s own stack. The owner approves what goes out in a few minutes a week. Everything else just runs.
