About this position

This is not another corporate marketing manager role.

If you're looking for a position where you'll be managing brand guidelines and getting quarterly budget approvals from five levels of management, keep scrolling.

But if you want to build and lead a marketing function that actually drives business growth, helping 100,000 service businesses replace failed sales hires with AI solutions that work, we should talk.

The no-BS pitch:

We're Markster – entrepreneurs who help B2B service businesses replace expensive failed sales hires with AI agents supervised by human experts. Now we need someone to help us reach every founder who's tired of carrying sales on their back.

In typical marketing manager roles, you'd:
• Manage campaigns with fuzzy metrics and unclear ROI
• Fight for budget while proving little business impact
• Execute someone else's outdated playbook for generic audiences
• Get stuck in endless approval cycles that kill momentum

With us, you'll:
• Build our growth engine from strategy to execution targeting real founder pain points
• Use AI and automation to multiply your impact reaching service business owners
• Test bold ideas with real budgets to solve the "bad sales hire" problem
• See direct business impact as founders replace failed reps with AI agents
• Have a clear path to partnership as we scale to 100,000 businesses

What your Thursday might look like:

Your morning starts with reviewing the AI dashboard you've built that tracks how founders move through our "escape bad sales hires" funnel. You notice a conversion drop in the agency owner segment, dig into the data, and make an adjustment that's already live by mid-morning. You spend an hour collaborating with one of the founders on messaging for our "predictable revenue" campaign, and your insights actually shape the direction. After lunch, you lead a Growth Lab session where the team experiments with LinkedIn targeting for consulting firm owners. By late afternoon, you're analyzing results from an A/B test comparing "failed sales hire" vs "feast-or-famine" messaging and planning how to scale the winning approach. Throughout the day, you haven't had to seek approval for a single decision – you're trusted to drive results that help founders solve real problems.

This isn't your match if:

  • You thrive in rigid corporate structures with layers of approval
  • You prefer executing someone else's vision rather than building your own
  • You're looking for traditional employee benefits and job security
  • You believe marketing success can't be measured in actual business outcomes

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years in B2B marketing with measurable results (especially targeting business owners)
  • Experience building and optimizing full-funnel marketing strategies
  • Comfort with marketing technology, data analysis, and AI tools
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills for founder audiences
  • Excellent English communication and leadership abilities

What we're offering:

  • A seat at the leadership table, not just a marketing silo
  • Up to $23.75/hour, flexible schedule (30-40 hours/week)
  • 1099 contractor arrangement (you handle your own taxes)
  • Profit-sharing for high performers who help us reach 100,000 businesses
  • Quarterly team retreats (we fly you in)
  • Remote-first, async-friendly work environment (US time zones)
  • Access to cutting-edge AI tools and experimental budgets
  • Clear path to partnership for top performers who drive real growth

The real question:

Do you want to spend your career managing marketing campaigns that kinda-sorta work, or do you want to build and lead a growth engine that helps 100,000 founders escape the nightmare of bad sales hires?

If it's the latter, we should talk.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in B2B marketing with proven, measurable results
  • Experience building complete marketing funnels and campaign strategies
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with marketing technology
  • Strategic thinking and ability to understand founder psychology
  • Excellent English communication and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated and thrives in entrepreneurial, remote environment
  • US-based (any time zone, most team collaboration happens EST business hours)
  • Comfortable with 1099 contractor status (handling own taxes)
  • Genuine interest in helping service businesses solve growth challenges
  • Available 30-40 hours per week with flexible scheduling

How can I apply?

Ready to build a marketing engine that actually matters while helping founders solve real business problems?

Send us your resume, portfolio of measurable results, and a 2-minute video telling us three things:

  1. What you're looking for in your next role – what you *want*, and what you *don't*
  2. Why we'd be making a mistake *not* to hire you
  3. What you consider your biggest achievement

We'll get back to every qualified applicant within 72 hours. No black holes, no endless waiting.

This role will challenge you to think both strategically and tactically. You'll learn more about founder psychology and B2B growth in 6 months than most marketing managers learn in 2 years. Some days will require bold decision-making. But you'll never be bored, you'll never stop learning, and you'll never be just "another marketing manager."

Is that what you're looking for?
